While a generally nice girl towards others, Mireille may put off others with how unashamedly materialistic she is and her unasked for opinions on the appearance of others. To be fair, she also views herself through the same critical lens, if not a harsher one. Despite her talk and attitude, Mireille's skin isn't as thick as she likes to think.

Fifteen years ago Mireille Foss was born, and after thirteen years of seeing her parents work incredibly hard for a menial wage, she decided that the last thing she wanted to do was follow in their footsteps. Rather than live a hard life of no (obvious) reward, Mireille decided she’d rather aim for what she saw as the more fun, interesting, and rewarding life of the rich and famous. Unfortunately, Mireille hasn’t developed any notable talents, but then neither did a number of the celebrities she looked up to. What they did have, though, was presence, and that’s exactly what Mireille decided to focus on. She reinvented herself as “Amour”, a photo-blogger who seems to specialise in fashion, food, and whatever trend she can jump into the thick of.

In two years, Amour has gained a small audience with nerds - to her unvocalised disappointment. Any shot of nerdy shirt or outfit gets a tonne more attention than anything else Amour puts thought into. But she’s slowly learning to embrace her audience. Already a pro at repairing her own everyday clothes (the unfashionable kind she’ll never show to her audience), Amour is just starting to make her first cosplay outfit and is curious to see how it’s received.

It’s worth noting that while Amour wears a full face of make-up and a “vintage” wardrobe, when not able to borrow the clothes she wants, Mireille Foss has a bare, often-tired looking face and usually wears mismatching clothes that are clearly second-hand. (She wouldn’t want to waste all her good stuff on school, after all). Mireille used to be quite anxious about her classmates finding out about her parents' poorer socio-economic background or that, even worse, her father was the school groundskeeper, but being Amour has taken away any extra time or energy she'd need to sweat the small stuff. Still, she'd rather appreciate it if no one ever brought it up. Ever.
