ONE Be kind and respectful to other members and staff. Seriously, don't be 'that guy' and be banned from the forum for behavior issues. Be kind and respectful to other players - it's only fair since I have no doubt they'll be kind and welcoming to you. Keep it all drama-free and just enjoy your time here - it's better that way. TWO Please try not to ask any questions that have been answered in the information threads. These questions are what can be called 'dumb questions'. This is why we have things like rules, plot and canons - so that you read through them and know what she site's all about. If you do end up asking any 'dumb questions' members of staff will link you to where the information can be found. Just in case you skimmed over it. THREE Miraculous Tales is a PG-14 board. This is so that we follow the Proboards TOS and this means that swearing and innuendos must be kept to a minimum. Swearing is fine, but don't go around dropping the F-bomb everywhere - that's never fun for anyone. If you chose to, take any fade-to-black scenes to Skype or off-board to continue. This applies OOC as well - no porn links or images will be allowed on site. If anything like this is shown then the member will be banned immediately or as soon as a staff member is alerted. FOUR Staff are the creators and rulers of the site. Essentially whatever they say goes. This means that staff can add or change rules appropriately with - hopefully - no arguments from other members. Usually these changes will be for a reason and not just because that one person is pissing a staff member off. Staff have lives outside of the roleplay and thus can't be here all the time. If you do find yourself with questions and no one is only to help, send a PM to a staff member and they'll help you out the best they can. LAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE |

CHARACTERSTHE RULES ON CHARACTERS ONE Activity is extremely important especially if you've chosen to play a canon character. A post once every 10 days is ideal but I'll accept once every 30 days. If you ARE going to be away and unable to post, PM me or another Staff member and the date you will most likely return. The countdown will start again as soon as that return date passes. Alternately, you can publicly make it known in the 'away' board that you're going to be away and the same result will occur. As for canon characters, you are allowed ONE major canon (Miraculous Wielders) and ONE regular canon (Misc or Kwamii) There is a character limit of 2 before you must ask staff for permission on making another character. When PMing staff about another character after your second, make sure to give a reason why you deserve another character. If you hope to play a Miraculous Wielder, please refrain from creating a Kwamii. The reason being that I would much rather have two people playing a Kwamii/Wielder duo than one person playing both as it leads to more in-depth conversations between the two. Keep in mind that any thread that a Miraculous Wielder is in, a Kwamii will have the option of joining said threads. TWO Faceclaims must be in anime/manga or cartoon style. Certain game characters will be permitted as long as they are anime or manga styled. THREE Please refrain from roleplaying until your character is approved. Plotting is allowed before a character being accepted, but posting on any IC boards is prohibited until accepted. If your character isn't finished, make sure to label it WIP so that staff know not to review it. FOUR This is an account per-character site. For each character you have, you must have a separate account for it. In addition, make sure your first account is you OOC account which is registered via your OOC name (ex. Star or Artemis) not your character's name. The profile images are square and as long as you use a square image, the picture should re-size to fit. Make sure not to plagiarize any images. I would prefer it if there are no signatures on-site as they can make the site lag - especially if you use gifs as signatures. FIVE No mary-sues or Gary-stus. No one's perfect and your characters can't be - it's no fun playing a perfect character. SIX No god-modding or Power-playing. Not only is it no fun but it's just downright rude. I'll admit, I'm guilty of it in the past but please none of that here. Especially here. Do not control a character that is not yours. Along those lines, if staff ask you to nerf a character, please comply. SEVEN Fighting is allowed IC for certain characters. Just remember that many civilians are unlikely to engage in combat unless there is a good reason to as most of the fighting is left to the Superheroes (generally Miraculous Wielders) and the Super Villains. When fighting, be fair. Make sure that there's no blood, gore or guns. This is a roleplay based off of Miraculous Ladybug. Please be reasonable. EIGHT Romance is allowed and all forms are accepted. Hetero, Bi, Demi ect are all allowed. Just keep all real-life relationships to yourself. LAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE |

ROLEPLAYINFORMATION FOR ROLEPLAYING ONE Miraculous Tales is a semi-literate roleplay so our minimum post is one paragraph. One paragraph is preferably 5-7 sentences or around 100 words. You are free to write more, just remember not everyone will be at the same experience level. TWO Try to keep that languages to just English if you can. Although this is a Paris-based roleplay many on-site speak English and it is my (Black Cat Ring's) first language. No talking in French for an entire post. As long as you don't have an entire IC post in another language, minor language talking is permitted. THREE This site runs on Liquid-time. This means you can have your character in more than one thread at a time. (more plots huzzah!) But make sure only to take on what you can handle. You don't wanna leave anyone hanging for replies. FOUR Feel free to decorate your posts however you want - templates, color, bold ect. Just make sure it's readable. We don't want any blinding colors or unreadable ones. LAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE |
